Purpose: The purpose of this study is to provide a comprehensive framework on the factors affecting the acceptance of information and communication technologies (ICTs) in Iranian academic libraries.Method: The present research is applied in terms of its purpose and in terms of its implementation method is an analytical survey that has been carried out with a mixed (quantitative-qualitative) approach. In the first part, content analysis method and in the second part, the Delphi technique and a researcher-made questionnaire were used. The research community in the first part includes the title, abstract, and keywords of the 3922 records identified in the Web of science as Citation Database. The research community in the second part consists of 40 IT experts that were selected using objective sampling method. Findings: The findings indicate that in 82.93% of the research, 9 technology acceptance models have been used; among them, TAM with the frequency of 694 has been the most used model in previous research. Other findings showed that the acceptance framework of ICTs in Iranian academic libraries includes 42 components. Also, perceived of usefulness, system quality (technological features) and user satisfaction with mean rank of 32.10, 28.63 and 26.97 were respectively recognized as the most important components influencing the acceptance of technology in Iranian academic libraries. Result: The present research, by identifying and prioritizing the effective components of technology acceptance, can play a significant role in user satisfaction and increase the effectiveness of technologies in libraries when changing, developing or transforming.
